Heber Overgaard Search and Rescue (HOSAR) is a nonprofit 501C-3 organization dedicated to providing emergency assistance and safety education to the Heber‑Overgaard community and surrounding areas. Our team works closely with local agencies to ensure a rapid, coordinated response during emergencies while also helping residents stay prepared and informed.

Our Mission

WE BRING PEOPLE HOME

HOSAR is a 501C-3 that focuses on two primary areas:

Operational Support: Assisting county law enforcement fire departments and county services during emergencies and search‑and‑rescue operations.

Community Education: the Education to Prevention initiative provides local residents with safety information, training opportunities, and prevention education to help reduce risks and improve preparedness.
